On March 8, Harvard Girl Scout troops 30882, 11176, and 30892 visited the State House, had a guided tour, and met with state Rep. Jennifer Benson and state Sen. Jamie Eldridge. Since March 8 was International Women’s Day, the scouts asked Benson why she did not stay home from work. She replied that there have been “too many years with no women in government.”
