Tristan Allard, a fifth-grader at Applewild School in Fitchburg, is a finalist in the school’s round of the National Geographic Bee. He will take a qualifying exam to be eligible for the Massachusetts State Bee to be held in Worcester in March. National finals will be in Washington, D.C., in May.
