As we rush toward the Special Town Election, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude to everyone who has come out to engage with me and with this process.
The flood of support and kind words has meant the world to me. I met many new people whom I may not have otherwise had the chance to know, and I made friends along the way. The campaign process is not an easy one, but the people who have been by my side from the beginning and those who joined along the way have buoyed me throughout it all.
As a serious introvert, being out in public has the potential to be very draining for me, but this process has only reinforced my commitment and drive to engage and serve. Thank you, truly. Your energy, passion, and camaraderie are what make this journey as rewarding as it is.
Anyone who remains unsure of their vote, I recommend reading the segments later in this paper, or watching the candidates forum from the League of Women Voters and the Harvard Press. I am always happy to answer questions; please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Lastly, and most importantly, please get out and vote. I, of course, hope you are voting for me so that I can serve on the Select Board, but democracy is about everyone’s voice, so please get out there and use it.
