Please give Eric Ward your vote for Select Board on Wednesday, Oct.8. Eric has just what the Select Board needs. He has experience and in-depth knowledge of the town’s finances, having volunteered on and chaired the Finance Committee and been a member of the Capital Planning and Investment Committee. He will be able to dig into these issues that are so important to the town on day one of his term. He is already thinking about ways to improve communication among the multitude of volunteers on the boards and committees when it comes to, not just the finances, but the overall functioning of town government. Eric has been a supporter of the Climate Initiative Committee. He has joined us for the Fourth of July parade, usually with his e-bike, and has used our heat pump coaching program. It’s one way I have gotten to know him. I hope you will give him your vote. And by the way, he loves spreadsheets, so what’s not to like.
